"What is a download?", Deborah asked. What I call a download is when pure truth flows through me, spontaneously, often without any directive or intention of mine. Suddenly truth, as if it is a lighter than air liquid essence, flows into my 3rd Chakra (my tummy) and then permeates my entire being. It is as if my brain is almost the last part of me to recognize it. Then I observe, assimilate, and incorporate that truth into my logical thinking.
The download that came was an answer to a question I had asked for decades - "What is love really?". It's not what I thought. For me at least, love is not the lust and passion of butterflies in my tummy, anxious-even nervous to see her. It's not like when I was younger, feeling the pressure to impress her, be smart for her, or protect her. What love really is has finally become a new experience for me.
It's butterflies in my heart filled with the joy of me recognizing another soul completely, and a calm knowing, loving acceptance, and complete lack of judgment from them toward me. It's looking into her eyes as she looks at me, and the reflections of what she sees tell me that I am perfect just as I am. It's holding her hand and that not meaning anything more or less than holding her hand. No games. No hidden meanings. No hints or expectations or hopes. No unfulfilled desires. I find that when holding her hand doesn't mean anything more or less than holding her hand, it means everything. It means that "I love you" expresses the purest form of acceptance, not "I love you, but" or not "I love you, if..." that fills most relationships.
What is love? Real love is a chain reaction. Real love is the hearts recognition of your own purity and brilliance, reflected by another back to you, then compounded by your recognition of their purity and brilliance that you reflect to them. And when two people discover more completely how each of them is pure and brilliant through the reflections from the other, their pure essence becomes intertwined and their souls join in a union that opens a special door in the Universe.
Their physical intimacy makes a transition from attempting to show love or prove love to each other, to a pure celebration of love, acceptance, and complete recognition of each other. It becomes an attempt to duplicate in physical form the union that has happened in the intertwining of their pure essences... not because there is a need to duplicate it, but simply because they want to.
What is love? It is feeling complete happiness, joy, and acceptance in a way that is so profound, you realize your life has changed. The profound difference in what you experience now is so different from your "past life" that you feel reborn... as if you have walked into a new world. You begin to see things you never saw before, as if you suddenly find magic in every moment. You ask a question and moments later the answer just flows into you. You see someone unhappy and you seem to just know what to say or do to lift their spirit.
The changes in your life experience become so profound, that you finally look back with real intent to see exactly what happened, and then you discover... the door you walked through, together with the one with whom you have experienced true love, has one word on it - "Mu".
